District Chief Qi and His Delegation from Yizhou District, Guangxi Province Visit and Inspect Guangtong Group

On the afternoon of March 17, District Chief Qi of Yizhou District, Guangxi, led a delegation of six officials from the District Agriculture Bureau, the Development and Reform Bureau, the Investment Promotion Bureau, the Mulberry–Silk Circular Economy Development Center, and other agencies on a visit to Guangtong Group for an inspection and study tour. The delegation first toured Guangtong’s Bao workshop, the mechanized production workshop at the headquarters, and the on-site demonstration of silkworm rearing using artificial feed. Subsequently, the two sides held a symposium in the Group’s headquarters conference room to discuss ways to deepen cooperation on such matters as expanding the supply of superior silkworm strains and fostering new drivers of productivity. During the meeting, the District Chief expressed full support and cooperation for Guangtong’s development in Yizhou, emphasizing that both parties would work together to promote innovative development of the sericulture industry.
