Shandong Guangtong Silkworm Seed Co., Ltd.

The Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Sericulture Products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has conducted sampling of Guangtong Group’s mulberry silkworm seeds for 2025 production.

In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice from the Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Sericulture Products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Conducting Random Quality Inspections of Mulberry Silkworm Seeds for Production in 2025,” on the morning of January 7, 2025, Deputy Director Zhang Meirong of the Quality Inspection and Testing Center and Director Wang Xin of the Quality Inspection Center of the Jiangsu Provincial Silkworm Seed Management Station, accompanied by Section Chief Zhao Ruixue of the Provincial Agricultural Technology Extension Center, Deputy Secretary Zhang Yuntao of the Weifang Municipal Agricultural Technology Extension Center, Section Chief Wang Aiguo of the Fruit and Tea Section, Director You Debao of the Qingzhou Municipal Agricultural Technology Extension Center, and Section Chief Wang Xiaojin of the Fruit Tree Section, conducted on-site sampling of the 2025 spring–summer mulberry silkworm seeds at the cold storage facility of Guangtong Group. Relevant personnel from the Group, including Chang Wenyong, Guo Zhaoyi, and Li Rendang, participated in this sampling operation.

The sampling task force first convened a meeting in the Group’s second-floor conference room to determine the varieties and batches to be sampled, then proceeded to the silkworm seed cold storage facility to collect samples from the designated lots. A total of six batches of original seeds and 16 batches of hybrid seeds were sampled this time. The on-site sampling personnel inspected the appearance and packaging quality of the collected samples, conducted an on-site investigation into the condition of the randomly selected original seeds, and sealed the sampled original and hybrid seed lots at the site for subsequent shipment to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs’ Sericulture Industry Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center, where all samples will undergo unified quality inspection and testing.
