On the afternoon of March 25, Director Zhou of the Agricultural Bureau of Haian City, Jiangsu Province, together with Mr. Sun, General Manager of Xinyuan Group, and a delegation of five, visited Guangtong Group for an exchange and study tour. They were accompanied by Lian Haigang, Fang Dewen, Huang Haiye, Ju Jiewen, Chang Wenyong, and Xu Shanting from the Group.

On the afternoon of March 17, District Chief Qi of Yizhou District, Guangxi, led a six-member delegation from the District Agriculture Bureau, the Development and Reform Bureau, the Investment Promotion Bureau, the Mulberry-Silkworm Circular Economy Development Center, and other relevant units on a visit to Guangtong Group. The delegation toured Guangtong’s Bao workshop, the mechanized production workshop at the headquarters, and an on-site demonstration of silkworm rearing using artificial feed. Subsequently, the two sides held a symposium in the Group’s headquarters conference room to discuss ways to deepen cooperation on such matters as expanding the supply of superior silkworm strains and fostering new drivers of productivity. During the meeting, the District Chief expressed full support and cooperation for Guangtong’s development in Yizhou, emphasizing that both parties would work together to promote innovative development of the sericulture industry.

On December 31, 2023, the Guangtong Group’s 2023 Work Summary and Commendation Conference was held at the Jiangjun Mountain Villa Hotel in Qingzhou City, with the participation of more than 130 on-duty employees based in Shandong Province. The one-day conference featured the following agenda: in the morning, collective recitation of the “Guangtong Culture,” a video presentation, awards and commendations, a briefing on the fulfillment of annual performance targets, and a work summary report; in the afternoon, speeches by award-winning model representatives and representatives from key business units, followed by New Year greetings; and in the evening, the annual gala dinner.

On the morning of December 12, a delegation of 16 led by Mr. Zhang Sihua, General Manager of Gongxian Zhiyi Cocoon & Silk Co., Ltd., visited Guangtong for an inspection and exchange. They were accompanied by relevant leaders from the Group, including Mr. Lian Haigang, Mr. Fang Dewen, and Mr. Yan Gengdong. The delegation first toured the mechanized seed-production workshop at Guangtong Group’s headquarters production base, followed by a visit to the Group’s headquarters campus and a subsequent symposium. As the largest user of Guangtong’s male silkworm eggs, Sichuan Gongxian Yizhi Silk Company has established a strong cooperative relationship with Guangtong. During the meeting, the two sides discussed challenges encountered in the 2023 silkworm egg-rearing process and the 2024 silkworm egg-supply plan, reaching consensus on the 2024 supply of male silkworm eggs, pilot-scale trials for expanding production of new varieties, and further steps to strengthen cooperation in the silkworm egg business.
